Sonim XP2 Spirit Xtreme Performance Tough Phone Confirmed

Sonim have announced a new tough-phone, the Sonim XP2 Spirit.

The XP2 Spirit features in the Xtreme Performance Series and is the first Sonim phone to have 3G capability.

The Sonim XP2 Spirit was tested in 12 different ways to ensure they are of the highest quality and withstand extreme conditions. The XP2 Spirit was placed in 1m deep water for 30 minutes, tested under heavy dest, dropped from 2m onto concrete, withstood shocks up to 4G and tested under temperatures from -20c to 40c.

In order to meet these demands the Sonim XP2 Spirit is made from tough materials, durable keypad buttons tested to 850,000 pushes, extra-loud audio protected by a cover, scratch and shock resistant screen with extra thick glass and consequently comes with a 3 year guarantee.

In terms of features the Sonim XP2 Spirit has a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, a video camera, multimedia player, FM radio, email support, a web-browser, LED torch and microSD support up to 8GB. It also comes with a belt-clip- screwdriver and wired headset.

The Sonim XP2 Spirit will launch across Europe next month.
