Samsung Electronics unveiled a partnership with Microsoft and Vodafone to launch the Samsung C6625. The partnership creates a new stylish way for today’s business users to get more done on the move, making them more productive and giving them greater flexibility in the ways they communicate.

Huawei Technologies showcased two new smartphones at CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore – the Android-powered “U8230” and the “C8000” which utilizes the Windows Mobile operating system.
Equipped with the latest mobile handset technologies, the new smartphones were being exhibited in advance of their commercial release in the second half of 2009.
The Android-powered U8230 smartphone allows users to switch between full and half QWERTY keyboards and to navigate programs easily via a 3.5-inch LCD touch screen. LG Electronics (LG) has announced the launch of the LG-GM730, its newest handset in LG’s smartphone line with advanced features that are also easy to use. This is the first smartphone to offer the new version of Windows Mobile 6.1, integrated with LG’s advanced 3D S-Class User Interface. The LG-GM730 will be on display at CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore from June 16-19.

Samsung Electronics announced its first solar powered mobile phone, the “Crest Solar” (E1107). The new handset enables its users to charge the battery anywhere the sun is shining when electricity is unavailable.

Only this week, LG announced the launch of Two New Social Networking Phones- the LG GW520 and LG GT505. These two new handsets enable consumers to be at the heart of their online communities anytime, anywhere, with push updates from social networking sites and both business and personal email.

This morning LG Electronics announced the launch of the world’s first transparent handset, the LG GD900 Crystal.
The LG GD900 Crystal comes with the S-Class 3D user interface (UI) which LG premièred on the Arena (KM900) and the transparent ‘Crystal Touchpad’ is made of tempered glass and encased within a frame able to absorb shock and vibration.
But the LG GD900 Crystal has loftier aims than just being the first invisible handset - it also has some pretty impressive navigational functions: The Crystal Touchpad can be used in the same way as a laptop touchpad with Gesture Shortcuts that users can personalist and configure to their favourite shortcuts.
