Nokia X3 To Launch This Week

The Nokia X3 was first announced back in September last year and it’s been quiet ever since. However, the wait is over and the Nokia X3 is going to launch across Europe within the next week.

The Nokia X3 is a budget walkman phone, which is at the bottom of Nokia’s range of music phones. It comes in slider format and will replace the ageing 5310 XpressMusic.

The Nokia X3 looks like a typical X-series mobile, featuring the same futuristic design which always catches your eye.

In terms of features the Nokia X3 has a 2.2 inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera and microSD support up to 16GB.

The Nokia X3 will cost around £130 unlocked, which we think is great value for a good looking functional mobile.

Blackberry Bold 9700 Close Up

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is currently available with 3G Operator 3 UK so it’s a good time to look at the demo below. 3G.co.uk reviewed the Blackberry Bold 9700 in November, 2009 and it came out well with a high overall score of 4 stars from 3G.co.uk. However, the Blackberry Bold 9700 claimed three 5 star individual ratings for User Friendliness, Feature Set and Performance.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is the successor to the Blackberry Bold 9000 and by looking at the demo below the first obvious difference is the smaller size of the Blackberry Bold 9700 and its lighter weight.

HTC Bravo - Rival to the Google Nexus One !

The HTC Bravo is a new smart-phone that will be coming to Europe in March.

It’s noticeable because the HTC Bravo looks to be a direct competitor for the hugely anticipated Google Nexus One.

It makes sense for HTC to release a phone very similar to the Nexus One, when you consider they made the phone for Google. In fact, the HTC Bravo is thought to have provided the basis for the Nexus One and not vice versa.

Ovi Store Arrives on the Nokia N900

Nokia N900 users can now access the Nokia Ovi store, where you can buy applications, games, music and more for your mobile.

Nokia recently updated the firmware of the Nokia N900 in preparation for the launch of the Ovi store, which is live right now!

Previously applications had to be downloaded through the Maemo Select store, which was limiting the volume of applications developed. With the launch of the Ovi store we can see the number of applications increasing at a rapid rate.

The Ovi store is fully integrated into the Nokia N900 meaning any links or shortcuts to the Ovi store, that users might come across, can now be clicked.

The Nokia N900 is a really powerful device and we can see some hugely advanced applications being launched in the near future. Firefox is already available on the Nokia N900, as Mozilla has made it the priority device for Firefox Mobile.

The Nokia N900 received a glowing review from us at 3G.co.uk, which concluded that “The Nokia N900 is more than just a phone, with awesome multitasking power and superb internet experience that more than earn the ‘mini computer’ tag.”

You’ll be sure to hear more about the applications available on the Ovi store here at 3G.co.uk very soon.
